CANADIAN CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT

Several months ago we were approached by a young Toronto lawyer, hereinafter called "Nameless", who stated an interest in starting a Class Action suite against Monsanto et al for aspartame poisonning.  He claimed to have handled several class action cases. He was provided certain of my personal information but none from our main files.  After roughly two months he produced what he called a proof copy of a Statement of Claim which was, to say the least, almost complete garbage.  

Contacting him, since he worked from his apartment was difficult and became virtually impossible. He would not talk to a very high level lawyer (former US attorney and head of a large Texas law firm) who is also an  aspartame victim who could have provided him with considerable expert guidance.  This same US lawyer expressed the opinion that  there were only two law firms in the US capable of taking on such an action due to it's size and complexity, and doubted if we had a big enough firm in Canada capable of taking it on successfully.

We have not heard a word from "Nameless" now for well over a month and are now of the opinion that we would be well advised to discontinue further contact with him.

We will continue to record information in preparation for such a law suit, at a later date, when we can find a competent firm.

(Not too likely).
